This beautifully converted barn in Figueira, completed in 2010, which provides all modern comforts while retaining its old world charm and character. Much use has been made of the wooden beams that formed part of the original building. The house is located on a quiet street with wooden doors which open onto a walled area, providing complete privacy. This downstairs patio is equipped with charcoal barbecue, table and chairs and umbrella. A stable type door leads to a spacious kitchen diner, with a small sitting area at the far end. The kitchen is well equipped and has washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge freezer. There is air conditioning in the kitchen, to provide heating in the winter months and cooling in the summer. The two bedrooms and bathroom are also on this floor, the master bedroom has air-conditioning. A staircase from the kitchen leads to a good sized air conditioned living room on the first floor, with seating for five, satellite TV and Portuguese internet TV, fibre and a DVD player. Large sliding doors lead out to a shaded terrace with chairs and table.
